I've also heard of it, a guy did it a few years back but never came back around. Didn't cost much

H22 motor is mounted differently wouldnt that affect the way our motor would accept the fitment of the tranny? and doesnt the H22 auto trany have a sport shifter option? therefore making all the wireing and electrical stuff different?

I know it's a bit of a cop out, but anything will fit with the right amount of work.

Is it an easy fit. I would guess no. I would think the sport-shift auto-tranny from 3.2 TL or CL would be an easier fit, considering the engines are very similar. The ECU and wiring is what would make the swap challangeing but like I said before, anything can be done with cash, time, and know how. Just go to the premier honda/acura shop in your area and plan it out with them.

What gen prelude are we talking about? If you're talking about the most recent generation of the prelude, i've heard they have tranny issues as well.

sorry roddy, I was fuckin w/ ya. Totally not doable.

However, there is a company that makes a gear that is an LSD conversion, it's pretty shady though. I don't remember the name of the company.

Just wondering I know a LSD tranny would be good for the occasional racing and I also know that the new TL, CL auto sucks, just looking for an altenative

LSD would be a great mod but for the N20 & S/C boys i dont think the normal; 3.0's with basic bolt ons get much torque steer.

I've been readin about Phantom Grip LSDs in the Prelude board over at H-T and they say that it tears up your tranny. Everybody over there swears by Quaife.
