Lowering Spring

Ok, once my engine stops breaking I plan to get some springs. I have narrowed it down between the H&R, and Neuspeed sport drop. My friend wants me to put air on it, but I drive the highway too much. Any experience out there with either spring? Also, am I right in assuming that the springs from all 94-97 accords will fit my 97 3.0?

i have the neuspeed sports, they are great, perfect drop. It is even all the way around, perfect for highway driving because they are not too stiff. I believe neuspeed has a part number for 3.0 cl. I believe it is the same as the 94-97, i got mine for 144 dollars from auto image enhancement.

they shipped fast too!!!

ive got nuespeeds and agx's.....and i love it.....when im driving around town like a 2f2f cast member, i've adjusted my agx's to stiffest and it really is responsive with minimal body roll. But when i'm driving home from college with my girlfriend in the passanger seat, she makes sure i adjust the shocks to softest for her cushy butt! And whats great is adjusting takes about 1 minute....and it makes the world of difference!!! DO IT MAN!!! you will not be dissapointed!

clstyle: you should invest in a nice little ice pick. Thats what i use to get in under the strut bar....its pointy enough to get in on angle and you just stick it down in the groove then swivel around.....try it, it works.....

accorn: i dont know where you can find a good deal on the combo.....but, for what to expect. If you find agx's on ebay for 300$ new.....thats a good deal....and springs, i forget prices, but no more than 200$ for springs.....tokico blue's....im not too sure about them?!?! Also, check the black market every once and a while, thats where i got my setup. But ebay or www.groupbuycenter.com also, youll need camber kit bad!...trust me, ive been rollin w/o for 6 months....not a good idea

Use only the 1994-97 V6 Accords springs. The inline four's front springs are spung too soft for the heavier v6 engine.

So with the Neuspeed's are you suggesting the AGX or are you saying it's neccessary?
BTW, I thought that you only need a camber kit when you go 2" or lower?

Please correct me if I'm wrong because I'm looking to buy and don't want any mistakes.

Thanks in advance!

I had the neuspeed sports on my fourth gen accord, and it ended up settling to about 2" drop. At first with my first set of 17's it was ok, but once i put my second set with 205 40's on I had to get the camber kit. I also talked to a guy here at the sears auto center, and he said they sell ball joints for lowered cars. Something like 150/pr installed. I guess you don't need a camber kit, because that will fix it for you.

You can't go wrong with either one - they're the same springs, just painted a different color. H&R manufactures Neuspeed's springs. Compare the product line between H&R and Neuspeed. They're exactly the same.

H&E OE/Neuspeed Sofsport .75 F/ .75 R
H&R Sport/Neuspeed Sport 1.75 F / 1.5 R
H&R Race/Neuspeed Race 2.2 F / 2.0 R

Both made in Germany by ISO 9002 certified spring winding specialists blah blah blah.

Buy whichever one is cheaper.
