Has anyone put air ride on their CL and if so how did it go? I put some rims on a few months ago and now I want it lowered but I live in St. Louis and the roads here are HELL so I want something I can adjust on the fly.

If $50 for tail light tint is "too expensive" for you, I'd look at getting some lowering springs that are comparable to stock like eibach prokits for ~ $150

An air ride system will cost you between 2-4 grand for a deccent setup

 

Aww Yeah? Suspension and tints are two totally different things!! And that tint is about 90% mark up when I can do it myself for about $10.

yes, you can do it yourself, rockblocker also doesn't use window tint, they use thicker tint than window tint so it is more expensive, it's also precut by a computer to be the exactly right size and shape. That's what you're paying for, and as someone whose had it for almost 2 years, I say it's worth $50, if you want to spray your tail lights with spray tint, or apply window tint to it be my guest, I was just making a point that everyone else agreed with and that is, it's a shitload of money to do a correct air ride system, and you better be ready to spend a few thousand, and trust me I've sunk at least 4 grand into my suspension already not even done yet, and I don't even have bags

I LOVED casper's car, he's the one that made me want a CF hood from the group buy, there was one company that made them like 3-4 years ago, only 2 or 3 people got them, and then they quit makin em. Surprised no one put any pics of katana's whip up

x2 on katanas, his ride was tight. I was also thinking about doing airbags in my car, and I think if you shopped around, did the work yourself you could get a good used system for like 1500.

I have, my first account got deleted in the switch from acura-cl to acurazine somehow, i have been on here since jan 2003, i bought my car in may 2003, I came on here in january looking at CL's and started looking at casper's, clpower's, and dustbuster's, amoungst other CL's and was sold

I got the wheels and tires for 600, their ICON 18's, some cheap but good looking rims, but they are temporary. I bought the car stock and I live in Richmond Heights, right down the street from the Galeria. shnee420 interested as well, clear your inbox. Depending on the setup and price it might be worth it but I cant see myself spending more that 2 grand on the project. As of now its just something to look into.
