Lowered car in winter?

I just said I have to clear out the snow from the wheel well more often. Because there is less space, snow accumulates there much faster, so you will have to pay more mind to keeping it clear. Not sure what you're asking about coilovers and a one and a half foot drop

^1.5 is pretty mild. I drove my car with a sportline drop (1.8/1.7) around all winter last year every single day. Stock struts too. The ride was fine. I only got squirrelly in the rear once. I decided that my car handled better than my mom's lexus ES 300 in the snow.
NEOhio winters aren't mild winters be any means either.
Honestly man, if you're worried about, get some nice snow tires. I had some real good tires on my CL and it payed off soo well.

My car is literally a snow plow during the winter. It really sucks. I def dont drive the car much in the winter unless i have to.
when my accord was slammed 3.5", it actually made a wake in the snow like a boat. It helps braking, by way of drag and helps the road crews out when theyre busy, in all honesty, it wasnt bad. If you shouldnt be driving in weather for a normal car than dont drive in the lowered car either. If anything it helped cornering, just because of the lowered cg.
however and this is a biggie that I just remembered, watch your exhaust on ice chunks, THAT will be your new worst enemy in the winter. I went through 3 front pipes in that car(over 6yrs)

driving a lowered car in the winter time is just like driving any other car in the winter... get yourself a good set of winter tires and you should be fine... even with a lip it still won't matter. We have really really harsh winters around here and I drove with the lip last winter without any problems. The only thing I hate about driving in the snow with my car is that when I drive through a drift say like a foot high, snow gets in my horn and it makes this really gay noise when I honk. It sounds worst than a civic LOL
Just to show you how much snow i've driven through with the CL (lowered 1.5-2'' on S.Tech's)... After this storm, I shoveled the snow off my car with an actual shovel and just drove off just like it was a regular day....

No way in hell I would drive the CL in the snow anymore, but it went great with a set of front michelin x-ices, I still have my set for sale they were used for like 2 months, they are the best snow tires I've ever seen
I've driven my car in the winter.. In NYC.. Honestly, you would need great tires and excellent driving skills to get through the heavy winter mornings before the street have been plowed.. I've been stuck on mountains of snow trying to force my way out.. It's a pain in the ass when you're in a rush too.. The V6 def. Helps out with getting over some humps.. Just so you know.... It can get ugly.. but,I'm dropped pretty low + a ww front lip..
Rollin 1997 2.2cl cypress green. Stock everything so far...got mad plans for tha whip once I get more cheddah.
Mad respect for all who contribute to acurazine. I don't post much but I read lots and have learned much knowledge.

I drove my old CL around all last winter and had no problems, a good set of tires is the main thing you need. And also make SURE you keep the inside of your fenders cleaned out, its a pain if you don't
just lower it for gods sakes! I had a dream last night and guess what....my car was slammed. Seriously in fact I swapped my springs out in the dream.. very odd.
true og's ride dumped year round
I still remember driving my accord around last winter with the mugen lip still on (which sat about 4 finger gaps off the ground)...ahhhh fun times driving to work with like 3 inches of snow on the ground hahah.
IMO don't do it if you aren't already lowered. If you are already lowered and not on coilovers, be a man and stick it out! I'm going to be rollin this entire winter still tucked on my stretched 18's...I don't give a shit.

Yeah i already have some performance all season tires! I love em!
When its pouring rain i still can turn corners going over 50 mph!
Not that i do it often just once when i first got them! they're BFGoodridge Super Sport A/S! About $130 a piece! but worth it! thanks

I agree with the snow tires, this will be my 3rd winter and no problems thus far. most of the roads in my area are plowed by the time I head for work anyways. Unless you live in the country where the roads are last to be plowed you should be fine. I guess it also depends on the flexibility of your job - whether or not you have the flexibility to work from home the odd day or not.

, just don't use a lip in winter lowered or you'll be plowin

I know I'm an ass
