Lowenharts

OK, There are some 18" Lowenharts for sale at ebay. The wierd thing about them is that they are 4 lug. I was under the impression that they did not make 4 lug designs... the bids are only up to $800 w.tires. The guy has a seller rating of -1. Maybe that should tell me something. Opinions??? The wheels are phat and if its the real deal... Im game.

Allright... apparently no one cares... but for those that do, I think that these wheels are stollen. The seller is now selling 4 other sets of high end used wheels with tires. He also has sold two others in the past.. Hmmm. I don't really care though. For anyone that knows, 18" Lowenharts for under 2 grand is unbelieavable. Let alone 800 bucks. Thoughts please.

Go with your gut feeling, if ya think its a good deal, go for it. I know I'm itchin' to get my hands on some 19" Lowenharts. As soon as a deal goes through in about 3 weeks, I can get some.

Good luck.

I looked at the ad on Ebay, I'd ask to see some pics of the rims first. After looking at it, I'd say it looks pretty shady.

Be careful! A negative rating is cause for concern!

UPDATE... Again for anyone that cares... They guy emailed me back and said that he just opened a wheel shop out of New Jersey. He says that these wheels are Lowenhart Atech Performance Series??? Not due out untill March of next year??? He said that he got them from a Lowenhart executive that he met at a vendor meeting??? I don't know bout this guy, he can't spell and seems fishy. On the other hand, he only has one feedback, granted that it is neg, but it was because the buyer was upset because the seller sold them locally before the auction was over. I dunno, I got to decide before Dec 1.

Dude, if he's high up enough in the executive world that he's been going to vendor meetings, and a Lowenhart EXECUTIVE would GIVE him these wheels... he could spell. Don't give him $800 so he can laugh in your face. Ask for pictures or give up.

You're probably right. But Lowenharts for 800 bucks??!!! Oh well, I don't want to get myself into shit, so I better pass it up. It does get me curios about applications for us 2.2ers though. Has anyone seen 4 lug Lowenharts before???

Allright, Allright... I will pass it up... although tempting. Thanks for the advice. You guys probably saved me from getting raped. I would like to know if these wheels even exist in 4 lug applications though... Lowenharts are my dream wheels.

Good move! I've had over 500 transactions on eBay (dustbuster4 is also my eBay userid), and have seen a number of people (including myself) get burned on "negative feedback" sellers! Better to keep your money in your pocket and find a "great deal" with someone respectable.
