I posted this here instead of the racing thread because it felt a lil weird posing my thread with the Ferrari vs. CLS

Driving to my gf's last night at 2am I see these lights close up on me real fast. A Infinity FX35. The guy zips by me and slows down in front of me. His windows were down and he was blasting his music. I caught up to him and he floores it. I got caught up in some traffic while he zipped thru it. A few minutes later I caught up to him while he was doing around 70. I kicked in 3rd and sped by him doing about 110mhp. Well this guy apparently wanted to race so I slowed down. I dropped to about 60mph. We are now paralel. He punches it and takes off. At this point he is about a car ahead. I shift into 2nd gear @ 6k rpm. Run that to about 8k and shift 3rd. By the time I reached 95mph this guy was 2 cars behind me. Damn that felt good. This guy got shut out. About a mile down we got stuck in heavy traffic so I gave up.

why are you racing suvs in traffic?

 

because it makes no difference wheather it's an suv or a car, its still dangerous and it's still someone to race. What, you'd rather have him race a moped through traffic ?

 

id move to a different down and buy a new car if my CL ever got beat by a moped.

well I've nevver actually seen an FX35 go WOT, but I thought it was fairly slow with that kind of weight. I may be wrong though.

It was a straight run. Head to head. After I beat him I wouln't race in traffic.

 

The FX35 is a quick ass SUV...The FX45 is even faster. The FX35 if I'm not mistaken has the same engine as the Maxima and I think the FX45 is an 8cyl monster. Nice kills..I wouldnt even have thought to mess with that truck.
