Looking for a little feedback on purchase of first CL

I've been shopping for a CL for about 3 weeks now and tomorrow a friend and I are supposed to drive out to Vegas(I live in So-Cal) to possibly pick up my first CL.

I have been going back and fourth all week about if I really want this car or not, mostly cause i was hoping to purchase one that was black or white. This specific car is Inza Red, I would post pics but they are from craigslist so the quality is terrible but the overall appearance of the car is fine no major dents or anything of that sort. Also in addition the seller deleted his post since technically I'm supposed to purchase the car tomorrow.

I guess I'm just looking for some feedback on if the car is worth the travel and what not. The details for the car are: 97,Inza Red,5 Speed,119,000 Miles,Clean Title,AC,PW,PL,Moonroof and we agreed 2500 for the price. This is the lowest price I've found on a CL that was in decent shape and not salvage or just a shell. It also has the lowest miles of most the CL's I've seen, most the ones I've come across are 160,000 miles plus.

So what do you guys think? Does it seem like a pretty good deal and I should go for it or wait it out for something a little more local for me and hopefully in the color I was hoping for?

wow dude, 2500 is ctualy really cheap. that's pretty lucky man. I definitely think it's worth it, since my car was a 98 with 160k miles on it for 4200! That's a steal bro. grab it, get a paint job later ;]

Well I made it out there yesterday only to find out the guy had sold the car the day before. I had spoke with him tuesday and I told him that I was gonna pick it up friday. When I finally made it down there he said since he hadn't heard from me on wednesday or all day thursday he was unsure if I was still gonna get it so he sold it thursday afternoon and I can understand that cause times are hard and people need money now.

It kinda blows but oh well still had an awesome time walking the strip and looking at the ladies but anyways yeah the search continues.........

Thanks for all the feedback guys
