mods please leave this here for a day or two as this only pertains to the 1g cl's and i need an ecu.

as many of you know im doin a h23 frankenstein. well we finally get the ecu in that we ordered (p72) i look at it and its an obd2b. which is not compatable with obd2a systems. so to yall who have done the h22 swap. i need an ecu badly. either p13 obd1 or obd2. p72 pbd1 or obd2a. or p28. any info would help alot, even info on where i could get one.

i put it on a RI Street racing forum "in need of any OBD1 vtec Ecu that can match with a H22." so you shoud be straight. Have u looked on ebay? Junk yards, anything like that

i have a jdm p13 sitting around but other than the speed limiter, its fine.

 

good news.. we went out for the past 3 hours driving around to various junk yards, and the last junk yard i knew of within 40 miles had the 1996 p13 obd2.. thats right obd2. and the best part is its already chipped by field. talk about a diamond in the rough. kind of pricey. 350$ but being that its the perfect ecu we are in business. the fun starts tomorrow am. ill be taking TONS of pics.

hell yea i start tomorrow. with this chipped ecu headers intake act 9lb flywheel, stage 2 clutch, and alot of patients im hopin for a 200whp stock internal stroker. should be fun. its not even my car and im giddy as hell. cant wait to drive this biatch, will make prescious look like a snail (motor wise). but its ok.

 

Like i used to tell my friends with faster cars (when i had my accord) You may beat me, but ill look better going down the track!!!
