Lol @ you guys and your H22 swaps

If you guys like the H22s you should get a prelude. Same luxuries, lighter car=more power.

Putting a H22 in a Cl....meh, the car is not ment for racing. Just crusing around.

I have a civic with a b16a2 swap. That's for racing. And I'll kill all your swapped H22 Cls NA. lol

But in city driving I use my 3.0Cl for cruising.

Man thinking to ditch the 3.0 for a h22 is a The 3.0 is excellent for long highway driving, very quiet engine relatively low on gas.

The only car that will prolly be impressive is the dude that wants to do a 3.5 swap in the CL. lol

Anyways, my 2 cents.

who's gone 3.0 => H22?

link please.

I would imagine the only time anyone would really want to do that is if their engine or autotragic transmissinon blew out. Other than that... no idea.

nobody has gone 3.0 to h22 it doesnt work.. 2.x to h22... 3.0 to something like a 3.2cls engine..

besides swapping a h22 is cool because EVERYBODY has preludes.. i mean come on the girl down the street has a fixed up prelude.. not EVERYBODY has fast CL's

B16A2 170hp 117 tq
H22A 200hp 170tq

only about 1200lbs of difference in weight..I don't think a b16 is destroying an H22

Really don't matter this thread is useless anyway

who honestly cares so much?

people do whatever they please.

the whole purpose of enthusiasts in import tuning, is to create and innovate.

its not about what people *think* whats practical towards them and others.

the question is, what have you done to your car?

Me? well to my civic I put in a b16a2 and it's fast lol. To my CL, well I'm leaving it stock as a daily driver.

You guys should drop 3.2l in the CLs. That'll rock.

and why would you put a b16a in a Civic? Only with 2.x do h22 swap cuz its bolt-on and you can use most of the existing parts. Nobody gonna do a 3.0 -> h22 swap here. must be retarted just thinking that.

Anyone can work on a Civic. Their aftermarket availibility is simply "endless".

This isn't intended directly towards you (fully), but..

Try putting work into a CL. If you haven't put in work into your CL then you shouldn't talk. I mean you could, but to others including me, you're nothing but a noob with zero contribution.

I give these people props:
The people who have put work into their cars

I give these people respect:
The people who put in work and understands the game

I give these people the utmost respect:
The people who puts in clean work; understands the game; and takes their project to a higher level

As for the 3.2, considering the ammount of modification you'll need to do, its not that practical for everyone to jump upon.

theres a lot of things people do to their car that doesnt need to be done...but the reason why its done is because they enjoy working on cars....like why would you put a B16a2 <-- (bull shit ass engine, should of got a B16A) in a Civic and still wont break the 14sec mark. People just like doing stuff like this nothing wrong with it.

What the fuck. Where did this guy come from. Wether anyone puts a H22 or H(whatever) in their cars its their business. No one bad mouthed the 3.0.
In the thread below the guy smoked a 3.0CL and you are crying about it in your own way by badmouthing H22s. Grow up.
I cruise in my H22 CL. Nice smooth ride and quiet at the same time. When I feel like pushing it, I push it.
B16 huh? If Its stock you can lick H22s balls. Then If you have engine work done you race a equal H22 and still get your ass kicked.

This thread is useless, you don't even know what you're claiming. There's not one person on this forum or that we've ever heard of that swapped a 200HP 3.0 for a 200HP h22. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense As everyone on here has said they swap f22 for h22's because it's a better motor, and lines up with their 2.2 trannys. You obviously don't know that, since you have a 3.0. And quit talking shit about your civic on here :whocares:

Wait, there was a guy in and old ass thread that was talking about swapping an h22 into a 3.0. I'm not sure who it was, but it sounded retarded. Oh well, all I can say to this hater is...

Do your weight research before you open your yap about weight.

98 CL 2.3 - 3,004lb
98 Prelude SH - 3,042
98 Accord 2.3 - 3,020lb
97 Accord 2.2 - 3,020lb
97 Prelude VTEC - 2,932lb

Looks like the only car that is LIGHTER than us is the 97 lude!

So it kind of makes sence to put the h22 in the CL!!!!

My first car was an 85 Honda Wagovan... I loved that little 1.6 liter. I can only imagine what it would have done with and H22a in it... LOL When I sold it it had 293,000 miles on it, and I still got $800 for it.

I'm not sure about the quarter mile speed. My b16a2 civic is equipped with ractive headers, High Flow Cat, DC sports exhaust system, ractive air intake.

I feel it edges out my 3.0 CL in take off easely. Prolly in top end also.

Quick Reply: Lol @ you guys and your H22 swaps
