Loaner car

when you bring a car into an acura dealer, when do you qualify for a loaner, do you have to have leased it from them? or be under original factory warranty, or does everyone who brings in any acura for repair get a loaner?

I think you have to call ahead for a loaner. Not really sure. It prolly differs from dealer to dealer.

The one where I was gonna get my timing belt and water pump done let me have a loaner. The dealership was half an hour away, so they thought I was too far to take the shuttle? I had to call ahead and schedule a date when a loaner car was avaliable. I'm 18 and they still let me, but I never took it there because I got it done by someone else for a lot cheaper.

So just call ahead and check.

I remember my dad almost bought a new TL and one of the selling points was that if you bought it from the local dealership instead of one across the state, when you went back to the local dealership to get service they'd give you a loaner since you bought the car from them.
