lighting Q

a friend of mine is selling me his new NOKYA arctic white fogs. but they are 'stage II' running at 100W (high wattage)

i have NOKYA 70W (stock wattage) right now but one just died.

when i put his in they arent as white as my originals.

any clue why? do i need to buy a new NOKYA harness for them? or change something so tthat they run at 100W?

as ong as the harness is the ame from the old to new set you should be fine but i would recommend doing it to protect your wiring from frying if something does happen

That's not right, you must have gotten the artic yellow bubls. My artic whites show a deep blue. What does the outside coating of the bulb look like?

they are blue just like the 70W .. cant tell the difference in the looks. same box only new ones say 100W

thats why i figured cause stock wattage is only 70 that maybe they arent as bright b/c of somethign stupid like wiring.

i might just send them back and say they dont work, and get a new pair.

That would be what I do, especially if they're the artic yellow, say you got the wrong ones or something. My 100W glow blue as hell

yeah.. my 100W are hecka blue.. (on stock harness)

it might be because you're comparing fogs to headlights.. H3/H4 bulbs are different outputs then 9006's

i dont think so .. they should be close anyways.

i mean my 70W looked blue next to my headlights .. no reason the 100W shouldnt look the same!

H3 fog bulbs? Sweet, thanks griff, ya know I've asked that question on here like 10 times, and this is the first answer I've gotten. Time to change the fogs,
