LED's

I just replaced all my interior lights with white LED's. When I was trying to install the ash tray light I accidentally pushed it in and it dissapeared into the housing. There is plastic molding all around the OBDII plug and the ash tray light housing. I cant get my hand in there to push it back through. How the hell do I take off my center consel? I've never replaced the radio or anything like that so I have never taken off the console b4. Is there a DIY for taking it apart?

there is a diy! search it. or try looking at other diys because they removed their center consoles for other things also.

There's a diy somewhere, the 2 bolts behind the radio are the hard ones, when I did that, I had to take my hu out to reposition the ashtray light, but i've had an aftermarket hu for 3.5 years so it was easy for me to just pop it right out cuz i've done it a million times

Cool, I guess it looks alot more intimidating with all that old cold plastic. I always act like its glass when i take it apart cuz im afraid ill bust it. I took the whole day off of work to replace my window regulator, ended up only taking like 35 minutes.

IT doesn't even take 5 mins to fix your problem... Here's how you push the led back to its' place:

- First, pop the plastic molding aroudn the radio. This will give you enough space between the head unit and the ashtray's upper part.

- Then you'll see a loose wire (that powers the ashtray light).

- Use your index & middle finger to hold the wire and push it back into place...

- You're done.
