leather absorbing?

ive had my system for about 8 months in my honda accord..i sold it and just got my 2.3 with leather interior. I transfered over the system and installed it as normal. i went to turn my car on and there was barely any kick in the bass.... idk if the leather is a barrier, the alternator is too small, or i just had a small malfunction installing it idk but ive heard the leather might be it

did you adjust the settings on the deck. you know when you remove it, the memory is lost and you have to adjust it again....just a suggestion.

What type of head unit are u using? Def gotta check the eq settings when the new one is installed. Also check the gain on the amp. And check all wiring to the amp and head unit. Also, are you using the stock amp? What type of head unit and bass amp, and how do you have it wired? My shit rattles my car apart, it's not just the leather seats that's your problem

almost any shit system can kick with decent set-up....the leather or sound deadening in our cars isnt gonna stop it

you won't need to run a better charging system unless you're a larger amount of draw

you prolly just need to fuck around with settings and you'll be back to the rattles

i kinda sound like a dick in this response,haha....good luck anyway bro, and what kind of equipment are running, anyway?
