Well 5150 failed to have finished the project in a timely manner. 8 months was more than enough time. And with what was left, 2 months was more than enough time as well since I last left SoCal. These plane tickets are not cheap, and I couldn't continue to rely on hopes and dreams for it to get done. I had my car towed out of there the other day when I really didn't want to. I really wanted Aidan to finish the car, but I had no choice but to pull it out.

Don't expect to see this car up and running anytime soon.

I already have it at another shop. They gurantee it will be done in no more than 3-4 months with worst case scenarios and redoing everything (which we're doing). I am buying another subframe and they are going to start from scratch with the mounts. I really hope they pull through with their work.

Wow! That really sucks. Sounds like the guy that was working on my stuff for a year and a half. I'm taking his ass to court on a couple items as he had my stuff for way to long and the only way to get retributiion is the courts, I'll have the last laugh on this one.

Is this the same shop that is suppose to build 3 different cams and spring setups for the j30 motor? All the j30 guys need is either the cls cams or the rl cams and do the same machine work to them.

I had planned on not telling anyone on the boards when it was done. I was just going to post a video of it running against some cars. But I guess teaser pics wouldn't hurt anyone. They still won't know when it'll be done.

Go ahead and post the pics, I don't even know the progress to my own car, lol. I worked 56 hours last week. Havent had time to stop by the shop to take a look.

BTW. I stopped by the shop, and everything looks good. Just gotta buy an oem passanger side axle, going to get a shifter off a CL or an accord so that it has better clearance with the E brake handle, wiating on some part from momo, and other than that, shouldnt be anything else to buy. They have all the hoses and radiator in, and all the fluids. This thing should be done in 2-3 weeks max.

Me too, C&C Autotuners is seriously a great shop. Very professional, and they keep you up to date as they go with your project. The work they've done with the car is amazing. The axle geometry is great, the position of the engine is perfect, the mounting looks stock, it seriously looks like it belonged in there to begin with. I highly recommend this shop for any work on your car for you SoCal peeps.

I'll admit, there were times I wanted to quit and sell everything. I was really frustrated when the car was over at 5150 for 8 months. But everytime I looked at the car, I knew the swap had to have my name on it first. Taking it over to C&C Autotuners was the best move I made in the past 9 months. In less than a month, they have accomplished a lot.

So what are your own predictions on the times you'll run in June against the other fellow CL members? I still have no clue what you have done except for the H22 swap.
