I found some pictures of a cl with the lambo door kit installed. It doesn't look half-bad--does anyone around here have it on their car? If so, how fuctional/practical are they?

yeah, they've been shown off a lot--but they're still neat imo. if it wasnt for the 1k price tag, I might look into them :p

 

^ yep, a grand is a lot of money that you can use for other mods, now post some pics of ur ride so we can see what we're working with here

Lambo doors is one of those things you have to be careful with. Its a miracle if pulled off succesfuly

Yes CL owners have used them a couple members on here, yeah lambos don't even use them anymore

You guys seriouss!? Looks like I'm the only lambo door lover here.
On exotics I mean. Or if a car is totaly tricked out. I'm not talking ricer I'm talking HIN cars. There are some sick ass HIN cars with lambo doors. The lambo doors kinda just finish off the look and are less in the way imo. I saw this sweet ass NSX with lambo doors. When he parked and got out and the door flipped up I was just like, "woa....."

 

haha I suppose the whole "woah...back to the future!" would be a sweet look.

only the 'cheaper' lambos dont have them, like the gallardo.
the murcielago and diablo for example do....

If you want to bring home trophies you go extreme, hence my doors. Its funny how people on the internet will flame and people in real life just love my car, includiong the owner of a beautiful black murcilago I saw at the store last summer. we joked about how the guy driving around in the orange lambo gallardo ( I know, 2 lambos in my small city) didn't even have them. lol.

 

Man, dont take advice from people on the internet, whatever you want to do, do it. a member on here said this to me..... "if you smile everytime you walk up to your car, that's all that matters. not what some guys on the internet think."

And anNSX with lambos would be absolutely sick, by the way!

 

^ An NSX with lambo doors would not be sick. An NSX with a rear diffuser and a front spliter is sick.

I think a persons true opinions show on message boards like these. I'm guilty of going to car shows and telling other people that their mods are nice, when I actually think they're horrid. I'm sure it's been done to me as well.

Don't take opinions dealt out over the internet too seriously. If we all stuck to the trends, we'd all be driving around looking exactly the same.

i don't lie at carshows tho, i just walk away, i only look at the cars i'm interested in. And it's not like the owner will come up to everyone and ask what they think of his car, but on a forum when you create a thread and posts pics of your car or others cars that's basically what your doing IMO

yes but it does more than looks, mike I can appreciate lambo doors on a show car or a heavily modded car, I think they're way out of place on a car that has next to nothing done to them, ie most people's cars on here that have them. The other thing is I've answered so many of these threads I just don't care anymore, if someone wants lambo doors, they're going to put them on their car, my response is usually I wouldn't do it especially not yet, but it's your car do what you want, after 100 times, my responses get shorter

Not a huge fan of the lambo doors, but I do think the butterfly doors are cool.

 

^yeah those are pretty good too, i just don't like lambo doors cuz they are too played out and i like to be different with my style on cars. And not have the same kinda doors and the riced out civics, no offense to anyone that likes them tho, just my:twocents:
