Tirerack
Tirerack.com has them for $49 each on the front and $29 for each on the rear. I was thinking about getting them because I don't want to mess around with adjustables and I don't want my car to be super stiff. If anyone out there has them please respond with an opinion.

I would go with the kyb agx instead if you were interested in performance. If your all show and no go then get the gr-2 and with the money you save buy something else.
Just my 2 cents

I had the GR-2 On my maxima with a 1.75 inch drop. Not a good idea. Their stiffness and quality lasted about 4 months. But on the other hand, the AGX are excellent. They hold longer and feel better on the road, espically with a 2" drop. Go with them.

I was thinking about that myself. It seems when most people "race" it's drag-style...straight. There's really no need to go all adjustable since it's not street course racing. Even if it is, in order to benefit from the those adj. shocks, you'll need all those other add-on's like swaybars, braces, etc. Even after all that $$$, the CL's chasis and basic design was not designed for such applications...punishment. Even if you do street course racing and you finally get the CL to a good setup, you're still gonna be sloshing arond in the seat because it's not well bolstered. So....in all honesty...do you really need top of the line adj shocks and struts?

The only good thing I've heard about GR2s is that they're cheap. With car parts, you usually get what you pay for. If you don't want to spend any money on struts, why bother to replace them at all? For about $30 more per strut, you can get Koni Reds, Tokico Blues, or KYB AGX. All are far superior to GR2s.
I don't race, but having a good set of springs & struts sure makes my 70 minute daily commute more fun.
