I got a set of infinity kappa 6x9's for my CL (they were heavily recommended on this board) though I've yet to install them, I see there are two crossover cables with (or so I think) if I'm using the stock speaker wires do I need the two cables that came with the speaker set?
probably not.

And the speakers look bulky, they have Shakiras butt on them, you think they'll fit without a hitch?

Keep in mind that the stock speakers have the crossover built into the tweeter. Your Kappas use a crossover unit that's independent from the speakers. Speaker wire need to run from the crossover to the door speaker and from the crossover to the tweeter. I didn't have the patience to figure everything out, so I did this:

I kept the stock wires in the doors and ran a new wire from the crossover to the tweeters. I did this, because I mounted my crossovers in the trunk. I didn't want them up under the dash. I know others have done it differently, but this was the easiest for me.

Click on my "Fotki" site in my signature to locate factory wiring diagrams. They may be helpful.
