I debaged mine to day & I couldnt get some of the sticky shit off some tomorrow Im get some stuff from a mechanic to take the rest of it off. Its like carb cleaner but its stronger & takes it right off. He said that he uses it all the time on other cars & it works fine is there any reason that it would mess my paint up ?

yeah, I'm pretty sure the Acura symbol is screwed/bolted on there. Most people just leave that since it's too much trouble to remove anyways, and you could have to plug up the holes then repaint it. It looks pimp with only that anyways. good luck.

yea

there are 2 plastic pin things that go into the trunk...

you can shave them down and re-paint...but that costs $$, and it doesn't look bad with the A leftover

If its glue just rub it with a towel, if its faded paint, well then, you're fucked.

Did you make sure to wash and wax your car afterward? At least wax teh part where you removed those, adn it SHOULD go away 99%. You'll still be able to see a tiny outline from certain angle, but only if you're looking for it.

Goo gone is terrible about removing wax. Just wash and wax and you should be ok. We did it to my boys black mercedes the other day and he thought i ruined it. I did too at first, i was shocked how black paint looked after it was goo goned. Washed and waxed and it was beautiful

I had the worst time trying to debadge my car. Apparently the "Acura" badge was only being held by the two A's and the rest of the glue was exposed to the elements for god knows how long. Now that I removed the glue, a faint outline exists. I need to go to a body shop and have them wet sand that shit out.

I'm thinking about ripping the 'A' badge off the back of my '97 and replacing it with an 'H' to make my car look JDM. Except I don't think the front badge is removable, so it'll be some weird J/USDM hybrid or soemthing. What do you all think??

bad idea. IMO it would be pointless. that is the epitome of ricer. trying to make your car look like something it's not.

also wd-40 works. atleast it works for bumper stickers on paint. spray it on and let it sit like 5 min.
