i recently bought a 98 2.3cl 5 speed. put an aem intake on and looking for full exhaust header and catback. recommendations and if anyone has some pics what the exhaust looks like on the cl's would be helpful thanks. Kevin.

j/k......pretty much gotta go cutom with exhaust.....but the muffler you want, then go to a shop and have them do custom piping for your car...it'll cost around 100 for the piping and installation, at least thatz how much i paid......but then again i have the v6...so not sure if they got any exhaust that will fit perfectly for the 4 bangers....as for headers...buy the 94-97 (4 cylinder) accord headers...the parts are transferable....there are plenty of pics on this site..just go to people's "www" link below thier posts if they have a site.....usually you can find pics of their cars there...or go to CLpower's thread "Just waxed new pics", he got pics of his ride in there with the lip kit and hella clean paint job...

i have a 98 2.3 with a high flow cat 2.5 inch piping 22 inch resonator and muffler all magnaflow very deep sound and i love it cost almost hit 400 with all, i get compliments all day long great gas mileage and a little extra power i highly recommend it.

 

do what cocoa said, Go to like Midas, and have them weld a muffler on there and do 2.5" piping.

MAKE SURE you keep your RESONATOR in there or your CL will sound like a bunch of bee's are stuck in the muffler

actually don't go to midas... well I dunno does midas do crush bends only? or do they have mandrel bent.

u got 2.5" piping on your 2.3? I for 2.25" I feel like I lost some back pressure...but I got i/h too... so not sure what happened. got magnaflow muff and resonator too and mandrel bent piping...

best thing to do is go custom but I would go to a muffler shop... not a midas or whatever... but some actual shop that also does muffler stuff...?? don't know if that made sense.

oh yeah mine cost 271 total.
