This black eclipse dropped on some nice lookin rims pulled up next to me with a huge exhaust and looked over at me. I saw no emblems on the back and it had the small wing so I figured it would be a gs ad an easy kill. I downshifted to second and waited for a second. He did nothing so I punched it to give him lil taste. I braked, and then he punched it and flew by. Thats when I heard the loud ass BOV He slows and I catch back up, but now were at a redlight in the right turn lane, with him in front. Light turns green, so he takes off, and I follow. Since he went first he obviously had a huge advantage, at least 2 cars ahead. I chirp 2nd and notice that I haven't gained at all. Finally by the end of 2nd I was slowly pulling I shifted to 3rd and kept pulling very slowly. By the end of third I was dead even with him and about to pull ahead, and he slammed the breaks on (CLpower does that sound familiar)

He turns right into a gas station and I followed. We rolled down our windows and he goes that things quick!! I asked him what he had and I was shocked!!!! He said it was a GS-T with an upgraded 16-G Turbo!!!!!!! I was like dude it must be having some issues, and he was like yeah I think so, not sure what tho., doesn't feel as fast as it used to. He asked what I had and I was like "stock H22"

Dammit I wish my mounts were ok, I would have asked him to go from a stop!!

 

nice....yea, if he doesnt have intercooler piping, or a bigger intercooler to go with that, he should be having problems......not only that, but some better fuel injectors would help with the extra air he's getting...he's just gotta know what to do...hopefully he getz his shit running right (for his own sake!)

 

nice kill by the way....i guess the would mean the J30A1 would have caught up to him as well.....

 

Hmm sumthing is wrong with his car. Maybe he dunno how to drive.

 

haha thanks chris, and yeah, the J30 woulda caught him too. btw-he did have an intercooler, (huge front mount) I didn't notice it until the gas station tho.

Oh and baka-T yeah I'm aware something was not working right with his car. He seemed to drive fine, it just wasnt fast It's usually the case with ALOT of those DSM's. My friends spec-V raped an upgraded turbo GS-T the other day too, it's our friends, he bought it used:tumbsdown: every mile on that car was probably dragged.

i don't know if you read the race with me and cocoa, but it was pretty damn close, especially up top, so he would have reeled him in too But yeah, obviously this eclipse had some issues Fun race none the less. The BOV made it even funner

yea those BOV's sound sick...i love the sound....but i love the sound of pushing too much fuel and having the car back fire...(when it comes to those crazy modded turbo cars)....

 

back fire isnt necessarily good, but it looks/sounds hardcore.

 

i hate backfire,if i was turbo that shit would sound hard.....my car sounds like it has lil farts....

 

i wish my car could shoot a ball of fire out from my exhaust pipe.

 

hey you used to be insyone right? did you get your car back/finished with the turbo? Hows it runnin if you did?

 

i havent had time to put the turbo on because i had my car in the body shop, and it is still there. i also need to buy a few miscellaneous parts, to complete the kit. this thing is costing me $800+ more, than what i had planned, because i bought the kit incomplete.

parts i have now:
t3/t4
drag manifold
spearco intercooler (27x8x3- nice size ic)
deltagate wastegate (w/ 5psi spring will be fine on stock internals)
greddy type s bov
walbro 255 fuel pump
fmu
dsm 450cc injectors
missing link

parts i need:
custom ic/turbo piping, and downpipe ($200+)
vafc ($325)
turbo timer ($100)
oil supply and return flanges
ss lines
and a gasket for the turbo to manifold.
(above three- ($100+))

after i have everything installed, ill have it dyno tuned. i plan installing the turbo in about a month or so.
