Arrow Just lost more weight...

Just lost about 16 more lbs, minimum. I ordered the UR light weight flywheel. Our stock flywheel weighs in at 29.5 lbs. This one should be in roughly under 14 lbs.

http://www.unorthodoxracing.com/Merc..._Code=clultraL

Just went ahead and bought a PP, clutch, pilot bearing, and release bearing. I plan on bringing this bitch back on the road.

Can someone help me find a halfshaft for the car? 03'Acura CLS 6 speed halfshaft.

SCREW IT! I think I'm going to try and make the track event on the 12th of April. I'm in the process of ordering the coilovers from Buddy Club. All I need is a call back with my friend's paypal account. I'm seriously going to try and get this running for track purposes ASAP! Freaking tired of missing every track event my friends go to.

I was on the wilwood site last night looking for BBK and they didn't have anything for our car. Maybe you should buy Blackacks 5 lug conversion, ooo I know you guys could trade since he wants your vafc, that seems almost fair!! Then you could get all sorts of BBK, right?

I'd hate to see how your performed right now on a track with stock suspension, and brakes with a 300+hp engine. HAHA!! You'd haul ass on the straight aways but if you had to turn you'd have to drive like a granny to get through the corner safely!!

yeah that's right it was kumar and he said like 3-4 grand but I think that was for all 4. Do you plan on getting all 4 wheels BBK style? You could get custom BBK in the front and then slotted and vented in the rear. maybe you could also get the legend or NSX caliper swap in the rear, that should be good enough.

Neuspeed race springs with kyb agx's, strut bars, ST rear sway bar, and yes, stock, but brand new brakes. It handled nicely before I slammed it, the agx's suck on slammed springs.

I already told Daniel I will not sell it as a package because I DO NOT recommend that combo to anyone. I will sell the springs seperately, and i do recommend you go with shocks that can handle that kind of drop. I would say Koni Yellows would be anyone's best bet with the race springs. I will sell them as soon as I get my coilovers in the mail. I will let em go for $50 + shipping. The agx's I will most likely throw away.

Sorry I've never heard of buddyclub. I just assumed that was the place he was getting them from. Sounds more like a buy in bulk store like Costco or Sam's Club than a company that makes hi-performance car parts but that's prolly why I've never heard of them, bad marketing. Either that or they suck, but prolly both!!

It's a japanese brand. I'm more than sure you've never heard of feels, endless, rsr, jic, moton, jay's racing, emu's engineering, quantum, etc then? Buddy Club has been in the road racing scene in Japan for more than 15 years.

You hear more of Buddy Club on the west coast since the main distributor is located in Ontario, CA. And they've only been in the USA for 2 years. If you want to go with custom made P1's from them, you're looking at $4,000. I was going to take that route, but I decided to buy something a notch lower just so that I can race on the 12th of April.

My only problem right now is a slight typo in their website. I'm trying to confirm that they make parts for the cf4 accord, which in japan is the 94-97 accords for us. But on their site they claimed it was the same as 98-02 accords, which is the wrong chasis code for the japanese accord. So, I'm waiting on a reply. Luckily for me, we're friends with one of the co owners of that distribution center. So I get beter prices.

Getting fender flares for the front this weekend. The fenders come out tomorrow. I'll post pics of how that looks. Time for a wider track base, oh goodie!
