Just installed my first mod!

Just installed my new prelude short shifter. It's pretty sweet, so much better than stock. I can only imagine how sweet the Pspec would be. I have a pic but i'm a noob and don't know how to post it. Help please!

There's a link to the pic, btw, somehow i go the shift boot to come off of the silver piece. Anyone know how to get it back on, or at least how it was on in the first place?

It took me about 4 hours, maybe 3.5. I thought that i was better off b/c the guy i bought it from also sold me the prelude shift plate, but it was about 1/2 inch too long, therefore it took longer than i thought. I got it for $30 off some guy on the forum selling one.

Anyone know how to fix the shift boot?????

lol...I bet. I used to drive auto, its just soooo boring, even with a fast car. With standard you are in control of the car, with auto, the car has a say in who is in charge.

i dont mine my CL being an automatic...i sit in traffic everyday so that automatic tranny help, i be walking like a real thug if i had to craw in traffic everyday with a standard. I'm thinking about getting like 95 240SX...5-speed of course, just as a beater and drift around a few corner here and there.

I dont know about dallas, but out here in so cali, all the shops around here are very good with SR20det swaps. They can pull the ka24 and put the sr in about 10 hours with testing. i was soo damn suprised.

I debating with either keeping my car as project car OR buying a 240 to use as a project car.

240's are great cars, but its a fad now, so the cops are targeting them. I hate that. 240's should be beater cars, not for amything serious because u will crash them once or twice. spin out really easily.

Yea, there are actually an inproportionate amount of 240's around here. That ans WRX's. Everyone and their mom at Virginia Tech seems to have a WRX.

Nice job, what's the advantage of having a short shifter as to the regular cl shifter?

Besides it being better looking, the stock one is so tall, looks goofy kinda.

The throw feels a lot shorter, so it takes less time to shift. But i mainly got it for the looks, thats why i didn't throw down for the pspec.
