just hit 75000
to make the maintain light to green again...all u have to do is push the lil spot below maintain writing with a key and it goes back to green....that becomes yellow in every 4000 miles and red in about 5000 miles for oil change
haha....that maintenance light doesn't really matter....it just wants you to make sure that you check your fliuds etc...
The one that matters is that "Check Engine" Light
The oil will tell u when it needs to be changed...there's an Oil light I believe....at least my car has it...but i've never seen it go off before since I got the car at 68k miles, and changed the oil at 72k....I'm gonna let it run and see what it does

Naw you shouldnt have to go to the dealership......all you do is go to Auto Zone or something close to it & ask them to run a diagnosis on your car & whatever is wrong will pop up on the screen of the computer he plugged in your car.

It'a a gamble, but I've seen allot of members, including myself, have the EGR issue at about that mileage.
But you're right on the money, anyone can diagnose the problem.

i'm about to hit 75k in maybe a month or so. my "check engine" light went on a couple of weeks ago, finally got it fixed at acura under the warranty. i don't have the papers handy but i know that the problem i had is covered for 8years/130k miles.
I had it checked out at auto zone. They said it was my O2 sensors (front or rear) and or my catilac converter. So, with that in mind i took it to a trusty car repair shop and there going to diagnose it a second time then if it is what they say it is, ill have it fixed right then, but for now i have no ride
