This was hilarious, I was coming home from school (UCI anyone?) today and was waiting for the light to turn green. A Dodge Neon Plymouth driven by a middle-age man was next to me and he kept looking up and down at my car... then he ask (!) if i want to run it...I was like WTF he must have major work done or something... but i couldn't see any bodywork done or hear any exhaust/turbo or any sound from his engine... afraid that it's SCed (wtf? SC Neon???) but I think i'm good... to make this short, after back and forth for a while, we're going to gun it when the light turns green and i'll let him gun it first...

When the green drops, he stepped on the pedal and wat happened? holy SMOKES!!! the smokes coming out of his exhaust was blinding and smelled nasty... but as much as he tries to push his car, it's going NO WHERE i just put him out of his misery and put a whole city block on him....

The moral of the story? Beware of the neon that throws smokes so it can escape....

a friend of mine said that he was in his car once and said that the guy painted all of his trim pieces in his interior with........................WHITE OUT . i see him sometimes at he local power wash. i'll try to snap some pics for your viewing pleasure.

I heard Neons have head gaskets that go after 20,000 miles.. it's ridiculous.. more people should sue Chrysler about stuff like that.

Also, have you seen the Neons where half the roof paint is missing and the metal is exposed? Apparently Chrysler decided that they could save money by skipping the primer coat for a bit. It drives me crazy to see so many people drive those cars..
