im so fuckin mad dammit, i was pulling out on a one way road looking left, when in the middle lane this lady stopped to let me go, there was a car in front of her but she stopped leaving a space open, so i pulled out and passed her, i ment to go in the far far left lane so while i was going in between her and the other car i thought the car to my right had moved cuz traffic was moving be4, but it was stopped so my passenger side door started to scrape his rear bumper... now my door is caved in (looks like someone wacked my door several times with a stick) anywho the guy that i hit i new him!, it was a company car but he said he wont mind settling out of court (i already pay 185 a month for insurance, no way in hell im telling them) anywho his damage is small, only gotta repaint the rear bumper but my damage shit!, my body shop told me they can fix it perfect for 600$, my friend who does paintless ding removal said 150$ but he said it might not come out perfect and it might be a little wavey, or i could buy a new doorskin for 175$ and have it installed but labor and installation we're looking at 8 or 900$, so idk what to do, any opinions? i wont be fixing it for awhile cuz i dont have a lot of money but sooner or later i will, just wanna know what you guys think i should do, looks pretty bad (its about a foot long)

also, be careful when you are driving. there are a lot of dumb asses on the road nowadays that dont pay attention .

 

go to a junk yard and get a door and get that painted!! should be alot cheaper, i think the 94 accord 2-door shoulnt be too hard to find anywhere.

 

WHAT!?! No way dude, don't get a new door from a junk yard. Save that trip for when you need some crap part that doesn't really matter. I’d take it to the body shop and get it fixed for 600 bucks. That looks to be your best bet. That way someone can guarantee their work, if it doesn't look good they'll redo it, free. Body shop is the way to go..... Junk yard??!? Accord door....?!?? We drive a CL buddy not a jalopy.

 

I dont know about ya...but its hard finding a CL in the junkyard here in Dallas area. And dont get a Accord door....it might fit but its a different shape its gonna look funny as hell. I'll rather pay $600 and have it done perfect and painted right.

well, i have come to a conclusion, im gonna repaint my whole car, and since he has to sand the door down and paint it, i might as well do the whole car, and shave my moldings while im at it, but i'll be driving around with a messed up door for awhile, its ok though, its not that bad, about a foot long, 1 1/2 inch deep indented door
