JRSC.........

Chumps over on the superhonda V6 Accord forum are talking now that Jackson Racing is developing a supercharger for the 3.0 V6.

It's about time....

Don't hold your breath... Jackson Racing has a history of being full of shiz when it comes to making promises to R&D products. They have been promising a SC for the 4cyl Accord for the last 2 years!!!

I think they saw that CompTech is serious about their SC so they want a piece of the action as well.

Besides HKS attempted that already with 98 Accord V-6.. It twisted the frame and blew the tranny.. if they cant do it.. i doubt Jackson can....

If you want something like that .. go to a speed shop... build a turbo custom for your car if you donbt mind spending $8,000 on a single urbo and losing your car for 3 months!!!!

yeah but how much hp did the hks make. they prob made like a 100+ turbo. not some 40hp turbo. hks is known to make extreme performance products, so im sure that accord had like 300+hp

i totally agree with u casper, but im sure j30 ppl would love to have a 40hp supercharger. cuz they cant swap an h22. i mean for me it is just about the same price, but with an h22 theres no turbo or sc to worry about and it will be all motor. with 40 xtra hp im sure the 3.0s will be hangin with the new cl-s

highly doubt it... granted they are slightly heavier... the are pushing 260 stock where as we are pushing 200 stock.. so 30 HP aint doing much in that comparison... plus they havea dual trigger v-tec... they open an actuator at 4000rpm to change to a more direct air flow for combustion and then the v-tec at 4800 rpm... where we kick once at like 3800rpm... we are still no match unless we can gain easy 60HP and then we are just alil better tahn their stock factoring weight!!!! sucks dont it!!!

The HKS turbo was a joke... it was simply a one time deal. They just wanted a prototype car to show off at a few shows. The guy who built the turbo stated that HKS had no intentions of ever turning it into a bolt on kit. In fact their is an auction right now on ebay and a few people have already emailed the guy about the turbo. Of course the guy could be making all this up, but who knows.

I think the HKS turbo Accord dyno'd around 277hp at the wheels.

Jackson Racing is a joke. If they spent as much time DOING actual R&D, not talking about it, they might actually get stuff done.

They have been promising a SC for the DOHC VTEC del Sol for THREE YEARS. I know, because I got my Sol three years ago because of the article they had in Sport Compact Car for their prototype supercharged VTEC del Sol. I figured VTEC plus Supercharger? Can't much better than that for daily driving. I was in contact with two guys over there (one in R&D) and both were promising me for over two years that this project was "just about two months from being completed" and that "they are just in the final stages". At one point about a year ago, they said that everything was done and that they were just waiting for the actual blower units to ship to them so they could put together packages to sell. Bottom line, they NEVER got it done and had no answers as to why they had been lying to me all that time. We could have bought the Civic Si SC and modified it (supposedly about $600 in minor modifications), but if they are so minor, why not just do it and sell it with the minor modifications and not make your customers pay the extra $600!?

well, whatever the acse.. a turbo is never gonna happen and if it does probably not worth the $$$$$ or the head ache...

like i said.. if anyone wants a turbo... I know a place in Queens NY that will take your car for 3 months and for $8000 make a CL single turbo car... Id do it if i had $8000 to burn away....
