looks like an obscenely expensive relocation bracket. you could get something similar for like 2 20 bucks shipped.

"Alright, so check this out. You can only get these from Japan. They are re-drilled here for US plate fitment. Plates are mounted at an angle and retract after 40mph for aerodynamics. SUPER LIMITED QUANTITIES. We'll only be getting one more batch in, when we go to Auto Salon. Then, that's it. SHIPS 2 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER ORDER IS PLACED."

Are they serious?

why dont you zip tie it so that it'll fold in when you're going semi fast?

the legend surrounding these things goes like this

wangan racers used to use hinges on their license plates so, at highway speed, they'd fold flat so that police cameras couldn't capture their numbers.

no, that's it. it's just an expensive hinge. also, it's always flopping around and looks retarded.

if you want a "magic" plate holder they actually make a setup that folds up under the bumper..its powered by pressurized air and it operates from a switch mounted inside. i cant remember where the hell i saw it but im sure it would be the same as this cheap as strip of metal..but would really be worth it instead

I'm all for individuality, but, I'm sorry that's just dumb. It looks like when you hit 40 (a crusing speed on a lot of roads) that it folds half way in and looks even more stupid. If you really want to blow over $100 though, go ahead.

I don't have a front plate. I just saved myself whatever the fuck people spent on that. You want to hide a plate, hide the rear.
