Jacking Car

I finally bought a jack and stands. The problem is, the intended jack points are only big enough for the jack, i cant put a stand in next to it to take the jack out. Is there some other place i can put the jack and not damage anything? It's the front i'm trying to lift.

Use the front cross beam for the jack point, that way you jack up the front and can slip both jack stands in at the same time.

SET THE HANDBRAKE AND BLOCK YOUR WHEELS.

and never work on your car without some near by that can help in times of emergency. i almost dropped my car on me one time. . . don't work on it alone.

same thing just a little more detailed.

jack up the front of your car using the front beam located right under your front motor mount. Then put the two jacks under the car at the sides using the metal jacking points located almost directly down from your side mirrors, just look straight down and you should see a little piece of metal about 2.5 inches wide that protrudes about .5 inches down from the side skirts on each side directly in line with your side mirrors.

i just use the pice of metal inside the front mud guards, it that ok? and how about the rears, I needed to jack up the rear to put my springs and could not find where to put the jack. I ended up placing the jack just the the side of the mounting point on top of the inner part of the side skirts. I ended up denting it a 1/4 inch in a 2 inch area any suggestions please.
