i've got a few ideas , your input

there's a few things i've been thinking about doing

1. 20% TINT
-would probably be around $120

2. LCD VISOR/DVD INSTALL
- would be around $120 for VISOR LCD + FM MODULATOR $30+
- CAR , DVD about $100 - TOTAL: $250

3. VALENTINE ONE
- $320 from kensteele(maybe he'll go a little further down, most
- v1.7 valentine's go for abou $325 on ebay)... MINUS around $80
- i'd get for my current radar detector (uniden LRD 987) .. so
- total:$240

which one do you think i should go for? or any other comments

Id do the tint first too, but the prices I have been quoted have been more like $200 rather than $120... but I dont have but a couple reputable tint shops either.

Don't let the shop put shitty tint on your car. I got solar guard and removal of my old tint for $120. That was a hooked up price. Otherwise it would run about $150-$180 just for tint and another $20-$30 to take the old tint of..

hmmm.. well , i'm not sure what brand the tint is, but my friend has it, and it looks good, lifetime warranty also, he got it for $120,

yea, but with the visors, it's kinda hideable-- i want to avoid giving a reason for someone to break into my car

After my run-in with a MD State Trooper, I'd recommend getting the Radar Detector!

go for the tint. i got 20% at a good shop around here but it cost me $180. took 45 minutes and never had any bubbles or any problems with it.

make sure they use the strip of black shit (i forget what its called) over the dots on the back window. one of my friends didnt have it and it started peeling off where the dots were.

it's so much work to get our car down into 14's and 13's which isn't THAT fast, yea it can beat some shitty ass ricers and asshole cars, but it'll never compare to a real performance car unless i want to fork out a ton of money and maybe get into 12's -- which then i could beat a lot of people, but could still get my ass whooped by some guy in an rx7 or the such
plus, i'm not that knowledgable about cars, i know just what i pick up from the boards

keep in mind, i still enjoy seeing other people work for the challenge, its interesting to see, and cool to see what the car can max out to... but personally, the $$ isnt worth it

I'd go with dusbuster...the radar detector might save you money, ahaha...if you do a lot of driving.

legendaryCL98, I don't think that's true. As I seem to remember, the 93 legend 0-60 and quarter mile were virtually the same as the 3.0. the 93 had 30 more hp than the 91 legend, and only weight 100 lbs more.

the 91 legend had the same power specs as the 98 cl but weight 3400 pounds (+- a few ).

You say your legend is faster, but it's also apparently modded, your cl isn't, that in itself is not a fair comparison. I personally don't think the legend is faster than the cl ( like it really matters ) not trying to hijack the thread.

also the dvd player should be second....just because I want one, haha
