I bought a 97 2.2CL premium. It has clear sides, and all the interior lighting is really bright, and kind of bluish. It looks almost like PIAA superwhite bulbs. Is this stock, or do you think the previous owner replaced them all? I got it from a dealer, so I can't ask the guy.

Sounds like it is definitely not stock, but I don't understand why the dealer let it go like this..normally they put the car back to stock first. Anyways, you can always just change the lights if you don't like it. By saying clear sides, do you mean the blinker or the side right next to the low beams? If next to the low beams, then that is stock, but if it is the blinkers, then that is an aftermarket part. Welcome to the boards...

I figured it was. I'll try to take some pics of the interior lights tonight, I love the way they look, I don't think there's any way they can be stock.

 

yeah I have the blue interior lights, and I love them! i haven't changed the two bulbs that are between the two visors, b/c they never come on anyway, and I love to see the difference between stock and my aftermarket.

 

I've been looking into upgrading the rest of my bulbs. polarg looks like the only mfg to offer all the bulbs in the car in superwhite or blue, but I question how much brighter they are over stock. like are they too bright for the interior and does the blue match the dash lights? also, if anyone upgraded their tail lights, how much brighter are polarg's? I'm thinking the back-up light alone would be worthwhile.
