a friend of mine has a '98 3.0 CL and is wondering what is the best CAI to get...i searched and couldn't find any forums on this unfortunately.

CLPower can help you out. But you'll need to supply the shoelace.

 

i too have a 98 Cl.. all honda parts usually fit.. check out for an accord AEM CAI system.. It will work, but I think it may be a 2.5" pipe...

I bought the 2001 type-s AEM CAI and with minor mods it will fit... thats a 3" pipe... but if you want an easy go solution.. check avccord parts.... good luck!

my original point was to have AEM say specifically Acura CL 2.3/3.0, not infer that the Accord CAI fits into the CL...i dunno, it doesn't sound like they care all that much about the CL, they just say use the Accord's CAI...i don't care if it's the same one, as long as they say specifically for the CL...when i got my CAI, i felt like this CAI was personally made for the CL-S (well it kinda was), but if they were like yeah, it's for an Accord, but it fits yours too, i would not feel all that great...i dunno, just my feeling on it.

i hope so too...im gonna try as best i can to make it up there...if i can get enough of my Series 7 stuff done, ill definitely make the trip up and chill...just so u guys know, i've organized a couple CL meets on Long Island, not too far at all from Queens and the other borroughs, and there've been a few people coming...anyone's welcome to join in, CL or not...i say this b/c we got Westchester coming this weekend, and hopefully, we can get some of the same people to meet some of the Island folk and where i've had the meet has got nice open straight-aways for the "enthusiasts"...im planning on one next month or so...u can do a search for some pics and commentary on old forums for these meets.
