Ok, so I have the BOMZ Racing air filter and a K&N air filter. I noticed that the BOMZ Racing air filter has a better design and looks like can suck in more air than the K&N. In a matter of fact, sounds weird but I sucked in through the K&N filter then the BOMZ filter and I could defiantly suck in air faster with the BOMZ. Which should I put on my car?

edit: BTW, The guy finally emailed me back and said that the new SRI is on it's way. Hope it's the right one this time!

Finally got the right intake!!
I wanted to put that thing on so bad I didn't take any preinstallation pics on the ping-pong table. Well, it is on now and sound's pretty much stock on idle but it ROARS through VTECH!

I need to clean the engine bay now.

That is what I got. It is the chrome one. do you mean the tube and the intake cupping? I'm pretty sure they don't have chrome tubes and intake cuppings... You can get the black intake cupping (page 2) and black tube from any auto parts store for a couple bux.

It will take you 20 minutes more or less the first time. I think I did it less than 10 minutes the third time... But here is a good DIY guide: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190125
Taking out the wheel well box is kinda a b*tch but you don't really have to take it out for an SRI. It's just recommended for better airflow.
Good luck with installation and hope you get the right one!

If they did happen to send you the wrong one they are usually pretty good about sending you another, so try to avoid setting the box on fire out of anger.. I almost did.
