I installed my Injen racing division CAI yesterday. I ordered it on March 17th and received it on April 9th; therefore, I would not recommend Autosportz.com. Also, they had poor communication. I had to ask three times where my intake was to get a tracking number (they drop shipped from Injen in CA and UPS is slow so that was part of the problem).

Does anyone else have the 98 accord intake on the 2.3? The pipe fits fine but the front mount on the tube to keep it from shaking is about 6" away from where you are supposed to screw it on the frame. I can probably rig something up to hold it (esp. since i work in a hardware store) but wanted to know if others had this same problem. It sounds really nice. It's quiet while cruising but if u try to accelerate at all or go up a hill it will make noise again. Feels like I have some back pressure now so I will have to save for a catback and maybe some headers.

 

i think almost everyone on this board with a 2.2 or 2.3 has the 94-97 4cyl. accord application.

 

I didnt really look into it that much before I ordered it. I figured since the 98 accord has the same engine as the 98 2.3, that would be the one to get. I'd be willing to bet its the same shape tube with the mount welded further down. I'm not going to be showing off the engine or anything so I will just rig something up to hold it whether it looks good or not.
