Intake install question

I was looking into the AEM cai or v2 short ram intake for my 97 3.0 cl... i was wondering if it is difficult to install by yourself with common household tools. If anyone has a install guide or walkthrough.. that would help a lot. If not plz explain the process.

thanks

It's really easy....

Make sure you have a 10mm rachet bolt or wrench thing

And a minus head screw driver

That should be all the tools u need

I installed 2 intakes in an hour on my friend's integra and accord...I'm sure it's the same concept for the CL

Make sure you secure it!

i see... but what do you mean by secure it. It should just attatch to the engine air intake and rest nicely in that little elbow shapped space right....

they give ua mounting thing, like a rubber screw, then a bolt/washer type of thing that goes on that to secure the intake to the frame.

Without the rubber, I believe the warranty is void.

It's pretty self explanatory when u see it

if you do get the v2, tell us what you think. cuz the previous person that put the v2 in drives the 4 cyclinder. i don't think a v6'er has got it yet.

it supposed to give you more power than a regular cai and give you really good gas mileage. pay attention to the mileage and see if it's true for our cars too
