Intake Choices

I just want to hear some feedback on a few different intakes. I have been looking for a while, with no decision yet. I am looking for a quality product, no ebay junk.

Also, I travel alot so low noise is key. I heard about some short rams that make a sound like a UFO and that doesnt really appeal to me. Anyway, this is what I have boiled it down to. BTW, im trying to keep it under a buck fifty.

weapon r dragon

aem short ram

aem cai

fujita cai

im leaning towards aem cai, but i need that bypass valve. thats crucial for me, since i live in the midwest. hell we had nickel sized hail and a tornado warning today.

is there anything else on the market that will keep water out? the only option other than the bypass valve is this waterproof sock thing that goes over the filter. anyone have one?

if you wanna spend $50 or less get an ebay intake and put a K&N filter on. thats what i did. i got a short ram and the sound is only noticable when you floor it. it sounds fuckin sickkkkkkkkkkkk

my intake is only loud when going WOT and at high rpms. near as i can tell the difference between ebay intakes and expensive ones is probably that expensive ones are insulated pipes? but i doubt insulation makes any difference when its a sri, the air in the engine bay is hot going in anyway. as far as a cai goes, i wouldnt concern myself with the water thing too much, if your car is flooded high enough to fully submerge the filter then youre screwed no matter what. anything less than full submersion and the bypass thing doesnt kick in.
