but i couldnt find if there is a different intake for auto/stick cl's because i know most cars have different intakes for stick and auto
im about to buy an ebay intake *cough*ractive*cough*

 

auto or stick uses the same intake. only different is for 3.0 and 2.x. read the noob section.

an aftermarkei intake is nothing more than a pipe. the part the really matters is the filter.

so an ebay pipe will be just as good as an AEM just get a good fileter and it will be the exact same

There was nothing in the noob guide, not because I forgot to put it in, but because they are the same.

There is no difference on any car between auto and manual because the engine is not gonna change to suit the transmission.

 

time to update the n00b section then

 

well with some cars there is a difference weather its manual or automatic, because of something to do with mounting the intake and other differences, i dont think theres a difference with our car (Accord/CL) but i know there is with other cars.

 

well on alot of cars i.e. the celica the transmition is in the way of the intake so they had to make seperate ones for auto and manual

 

yea some cars are labeled like that. think that Injen does that. But for 12 on ebay makes it fishy. make sure its not a homemade one that will melt in your engine.
