INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEAR BUMPER INSTALLATION!

ok, being the nice guy i am, and with all the free time i have (i wish) i figured i would post this for you because i have seen questions about this install lately. so now everyone can refer to one thread.

1. remove orange lens: there is a screw on the inner part of the light (near the radiator opening). you will need a long philips head driver to remove this screw. just look for the hole.

2. once that screw is out you will notice the light is a little looser. with your hand push on the other side (outer side) of the light and you will notice the lens pushes in. push it in while wiggling the other side (the side you just took the screw out) and it will pop out.

3. transfer the fittings from the orange lens to the clear lens, include the spring, it is detrimental.

4. install clear: this can be a little tricky depending on how much experience you have with this stuff. put the outer side in first, but make sure the spring is setting in that little cup thingy inside the bumper. also, make sure the outer end is locked in on the edge of the light, there is a little plastic piece sticking out that will sit behind the bumper so it doesnt come flying out. slide the other end of the light in. make sure the metal piece that the screw screws into is still inside on the car. its one of those threaded metal things you use when screwing something into plastic.

5. replace the screw, and you are done! it is very easy to do. and dont worry... you will notice the light can be pushed into the car a little bit due to the spring load. thats correct, dont try to mod it, if you did everything right, it will still push in a little.

any questions, feel free to email me. later.
