Installing Springs & Struts

Planning on installing my suspension this weekend. Is it easy enough to do yourself or is better to get it done professionally? Any tips?

This is very easy. It would be super easy if your new struts came with new tops also. It would basically be a swap. I've seen them complete and without the top. If you didn't get any strut tops, pick up a spring compressor. It's not too hard and it will save you some money.

I bought the Tokico Premiums & they didn't come with new tops. Is it still possible without a spring compressor, cause I don't know where I'm going to find one & I guess I will be reusing my current ones?

Definately get a spring compressor! The springs are really compressed in the struts now. You can get a set at an auto parts store. That's where I got mine.

This job is an easy one if you got all the proper equipment. If you dont and you dont know what your really doing, I reccommend that you get it done at a shop cause otherwise your gonna fuck something up. I changed the springs on my old accord and it went well. But you deffinetly need a spring compressor. It makes things a whole lot easier. Your gonna need them either way if you decided to put the regular springs back on later on. But if you feel confident about doing it go for it. You will save yourself a lot of $$$$ on installation charges.

One of my buddies is going to give me a hand, he knows what to do. He installed suspension onto 3 different Integra's and he said it was a piece of cake.
