well.. i fit takes 1 week to rewind a alternator.. it might be a problem.. haha..

here is a place that sells 3.0 accord alternators.. probably the same as ours.. its remanufactured..

maybe.. if u buy this.. and get it rewind.. it might save u some time

http://rep.speedycarparts.com/parts/...art=Alternator

hmm.. its actually bosch.. so it might have a higher output then stock..

what is stock amp?

Do you have a spoiler? You're going to crack it if you have a W7.

I have two w6v2 and my spolier cracked on the center mounting part. Sucks, but it's still holding up.

You shouldn't need a CAP. that stuff is over rated.

If you're asking me. No i didn't change out the alternator. I'm still using the stock one and everything is working just fine. Just upgraded some of the stock ground wires. Upgrading the ground wires will help more then a cap.

Two of the amps are HELIX amps by brax. and the one i'm using the sub with is a Audsion amp. Helix and Audison amps msrp for about 700 but i got better deals on them.

the cap will help though, I have one, and it takes the strain off of my battery. You def want a stronger alternator, but I thought you already had one.

Let me get this straight. To have a high output amp you need a rewound alternator?

i don't know what the meaning of rewounding alternator

well.. i found some high amperage alternator on ebay.. and they are like $200+ for 135 ~ 150 amperage..

some peopel recommanded me OG ones.. but too $$$ like $500+

so, i'll just go with a high amps alt.

is that okay to buy it from ebay? i dont think they are name brand, but 2yrs warranty..

should i get one from ebay? and.. do 2.2 and 2.3 al have differences?

Runs in parallel with your battery, and keeps a store of 12 or so volts. To help feed the amp(s) and not draw straight off of the battery and alternator.

Rewounding a alternator is just another term for rebuilt.

Think of a Cap as a Stored Quick Blast of energy, All it pretty much does is store a limited about of energy so that when a deep bass note hits the amp doesn't ask the battery for everything its got it asks the cap for 25% and the battery the other 75%. the more caps inline with each other the better. I've proved it for myself running 2 of my own and 2 of my buddys and saw a noticeable difference. But you'd be just fine with a high output Alt and 1 cap .
