installing jvd head unit

installing jvd head unit

I got an elkameleon head unit and some sony spkrs, the speakers should go in fine, but the head unit looks like a different story, the wiring is no problem, but mounting it looks like a beeotch, does any one have details on an easy way to do this, it there a kit or something that i need?

you can make a bracket for the back. Something that will screw to the stock bracket and then to the back of the radio. Then you can use a strap of some sort or brackets to hold the pocket on. The dash kits look a little hideous to put in such a nice car.

If you do this... be sure to match up the depth of the bracket with the stock deck, to make sure the faceplate sits in the dash the same way the stock one did.
