Put on my AEM CAI tonight after i got off work.
It makes a LOUD raspy noise when it revs high.
Is this normal? Its realy loud. Or could it be somehting vibrating?
Sounds almost like an exhaust note.
But the car is hella faster

 

Should be normal. Mine does that plus a neat little sucking sound if i lightly tap the accelerator.

 

O and by the way VXCL i for sure hit 125 tonight,
probaly could of gone faster but had to exit the interstate.
My car does not shift into 4th gear untill a little over 100

 

it's just intake popping that you hear.... all the air bouncing around violently....

i think it sounds cool tho.

you gotta love the sound on the outside when you hear the intake at idle just sucking in air.

 

how much did the AEM run you, im planning on getting it. Its the same part as in the accord no?
