Installed B&M shift adaptor

IT makes a huge difference. So much happier now that I installed it. Took me about 20 mins. to do it, real easy and it reduces throws pretty nicely. It really makes the car more fun to drive.

How could you possibly break it?

Which position did you use? Front, middle, or back (front being toward the engine)?

Have either of you or anyone else reading this tried cutting down the shifter in addition to using the short shift adapter? The adapter only reduces the throw, but the shifter itself is still way too long for my liking. I've cut down a Pro 5.0 shifter on a Mustang and it was much better than its original length.

What helped a bunch too was that I got a small honda s2k shifter that sits a lot lower than the stock one and is smaller, that helped a bunch too. Just have to change out the shift boot, but too lazy.

Sweet. Good thinking on the S2K shifter. Is it significantly shorter than the CL one? And it doesn't have the square base for the boot to go on, right?

Yea it's a smaller knob and you can screw it down further, so you're getting rid of a good inch of height from the shifter that way. Unfortunately the square trim just chills there in my shift boot about half an inch down from the shift knob. Before I got the B&m, I thought the knob made some difference. Now, it's real nice together.

Is this B&M adaptor made especially for the CL? What is the part number? Where can I get it? I have been looking into getting some sort of short-throw shifter/adaptor, but have had no luck. Thanks for the post and the info. THANKS!

Made for the 94-97 Accord like everything else out there. Got it at optauto.com for $60.
