Infinity Subs

Has anyone heard the 10'' Infinity Reference DVC subs in a CL. I'm looking for some decent bass to add to my sound. Not really looking for anything too over-powering.

My sister had 2 10's, I'm not sure if they were Reference or DVC or not, but they were off white. Bass was really clean and deap. Actually I'm pretty sure they were Reference cause I know they were't Perfect and probably not Kappa.

Lightbulb

I loved my OEM stereo but needed just abit more omph!

I added the www.SASBazooka.com 10" powered by the 150watt built-in amp & it sounds incredible!
People often think I have a 12" or 2 back there......

Best of all ....................... lightweight!!

if you want it real clean and punchy get some jlw8 8 inch woofers. Those are your best bet. Unbeleavable clarity! They are worth the cash.
ps. infinity subs are kinda blah if you ask me

i have a 12in dvc kappa perfect. i love it. the bass is so fat and heavy, shakes the car. works best in a vented box. ive tried it in a 1ft^3 sealed and it sucks.

the first sub i ever had was an 12 infinity, it was decent, good sq and could go deep, but you have to remember its an entry level sub, and you get what you pay for

kappa perfect is nowhere near a entry level sub. maybe reference's are. kappa's are huge and heavy

If you want cheap go to circuit city and pick up some Baha 12's. you can get two for about 40 bucks. Best of all, you can recycled them when they blow. They're made of cardboard.

Get this.

Update: I got a JL Audio 10W6V1 off of ebay. Thought i was bidding on a 10W6V2 but didn't figure it out till after the auction so $100 may be too much, but oh well, its JL so it must be good. Now, do you guys think i need a ported box for the JL, cause i had a low end MTX w/ a sealed box that i got when i was an audio noob. But now i know a lot more about what good bass is supposed to sound like. So do i need a ported box or no?

is this what youre talking about? the only ones i can find are the jlw7 8"...those basically as good?

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=2076

ide like to pick up some 8"ers to just get a little more clear punch...i love the cl bose system though, it doesnt need much more done to it for my liking. so i think a 8" would be the perfect answer, along with some nice speakers down the road

the ones in the link are 370$ each tho..lol might take a while to get them, if ever
