can someone please help me.........i was told alpine component speakers 6.5 inch.......with a 3 inch deep cone...will not fit in the door panel.....PPLLEEAASSEE leave feedback letting me know and how sure u are of it........by the way i got a 98 3.0 thanks

 

i have those exact same speakers. they will NOT fit without some major fabrication. I had to make all new 1" spacers from plexiglass.

 

and about how much will that run me? $$$ just dont dont wanna see any ripping or anything or cut marks....thats what i was told...that i'll see cut marks n shyt...

 

I have Alpine 6.5" type r's, take out the stock baffle, and where the magnet hits the back of the plastic baffle, it looks like its vented, I cut all that out so the magnest sticks out like 1/16" more than where the plastic used to be, and covered it with plenty of electrical tape to keep it sealed, and they fit perfect

 

Just buy a set of spacers on ebay? that's what i did

 

yeah that'll work too haha, my way was ghetto but it worked and i just wanted to get it done and knew i wouldnt put stock speakers back in, so i just modified the baffle

 

just buy a sparkomatic bass cannon from walmart. i had one in highschool.. i thought i was cool till someone stole it. i was out 50$.
