Indiglo Install help

Indiglo Install help

Hey guys, I did search around and dind't find much on my question so here it goes. I have my gauges (for a 96-97 accord) and the holes for the screws on the new gauges do not line up with the old..so what should i do? Anyone else run into this?

The ones i got didnt line up perfectly but you could see part of the hole through the overlay, i just took a razor and cut it out a little more. The screw shows a little of the black background but its not bad.

is it safe to cuth the gauges? won't this stop their ability to work?

I had the exact same problem so i just didnt put the screws in...the actual guages should have some holes on their outter edges that line up with the console when you put it back together, these will hold them in place...

even with the little pins they go over and the screws i still had to glue mine down because the needle was catching. they still worked after i cut them but the transformer broke after a month cause i bought cheap ones off e bay.

thanks for the info guys, i did a combo of both methods; strangly the speedo went on perfectly.
