I'm new... Question

I got a 97 cl 3.0 auto. what does the d3 mean compared to d4 and how can It help me in smokin people?

D3 only lets you go up to third gear... good for city driving bad for gas milage... D4 for highway, better gas conservation..

aight thats what I thought, why is d3 bad for gas milage ? shouldn't it be better?

bad for gas mileage cuz u hold 3rd gear and the higher the rpm the more gas u burn

d3i use when racing and"smoking people" up to about 115mph.d4 shifts you early and pickup isn't as strong....

the tranny is gonna burn up anyway,so you should have fun with it before it does.i beat the piss out of it for almost a year before it died......
