welcome. Run a search for "engine swap" in the thread title and you'll find ~30 threads on the subject, it's been throughly discussed before. h22 is the only one done so far.

i dont understand how could you go from an 04 350z and an 04 sti and then end up with a first gen cl. dont get me wrong im not knocking the first gens cause i started out with a 99 3.0 cl and then upgraded to a 01.

welcome to the forum. man it must be nice to have 2 great cars prior to you owning a cl. my weekend car is my weekday car. hahhahahah.

you made a good choice. and as everyone has told you already, make the search function your best friend. . to save you some grief. hahahahah. make sure you visit the DIY section as there is SOOOOO MUCH you can do to that car. not to mention the photo gallery to see what other people are doing.

if your trying to save up for your future or trying to provide for a family. i suggest you visit this site as LITTLE as possible cause youll find that fixing up your cl will soon consume your life and your pockets. hahahah. jk

welcome brah

thnks for the support everybody! ill deff. do the search and keep u guys updated on what i find. im going to be doing alot of research first since i dont know much about "the power of dreams" haha. and to answer your question im 19. graduated high school and made a very stupid mistake lol. twice! but it was fun for now im gonna grow my love for acura while im in college!

i wonder how many numbers ill b putting down with a h22 swap?
i always thought it would b cool to put one of the k series in the cl as long as the fab work isnt worth more than the car. from what ive read i understand there pretty fussy engines to squeeze power out of withought building, because of the i-vtec.

decisions decisions.
what have yall done with your rides so far?

nah he couldn't get the compression of all four cylinders to line up because the block and head weren't milled, so he scratched the project and went H23vtec, which was giving him issues also because it was running in limp mode for some reason, had something to do with his wiring. I wonder if he ever got the problem ironed out.

Ya i was the first to pull off the "G", the first to scrap it and the first to swap in a h23A

but ya DaInFaMMuS1 pretty much summed it all up and as for the H23 i had to redo the whole engine harness and conversion harness cuz the shop that did it are useless as fuck and crossed acouple wires incorrectly at the computer

she's just about done..

but ya if you got some coin go 3.5 (my dream)

it pretty much cleans up the head so that it'll sit flush with the block which i didn't do and we all know how that turned out

someone could explain it in way more detail but that's the basic explanation

Well i picked up the car from the shop and attempted to drive it home but it ran beyond horrible, at full throttle is was just losing power, barely moved. Since i didn't have my car on the road for over a year i didn't want to deal the that BS so that's why i grabbed the H23A and it ran decent for the first month then took a turn for worse. wouldn't accelerate pass 100km/h and to make it sweeter i tried to pass a tercel on the way home from work one day and he pulled away from me. Since that day i haven't driven my car

Just the other day i ripped the G22 apart for the first time to swap over the ARP headstuds to the new motor and it was royaly fucked, melted pistons and shit, pretty much
