Hmmm...What Transmission will fit on our j30a1? any j30 or j32's etc.. will fit on our j30a1...im just curious.

another j30 tranny, or I think i read on here that a j32 six speed would fit, but wouldn't be worth it because of all the work that would have to be put into matching it up...

Correct me if i'm wrong guys

a j32 tranny would bolt up to the block, however you would have LOTS of fitment issues with the firewall needing to be cut. You could find this info by searching it's been talked about numerous times

So if you cut the firewall enough, It should fit alright? Or are there alot more other fitment issues?

Mounts, cocoa had to have custom tranny mounts fabricated, not to mention the wiring and ecu
