Im definitely getting projectors!!

Sup guyz? Alright this afternoon I was at a local car show, little small one, and I ran into AthlonXP...We both have HID's, but he's got projectors. Lemme tell you guys something...Projectors = 10x better then just throwing the kit in there. I saw him driving behind me and it looked amazing! I think I'm going to have him install some projectors in my lights asap, im sick of my 8000k light shining all over the place.

Does anyone have 8000k Hid kit with projectors? pics please?

Alright im sure vxcl will answer this...What is the best projectors I can buy for the cl headlights for visibility and looks? And were should I order them from? VXCL?

I'm not sure if the bulbs would work in the projectors. From my understanding projectors use d2s,d2r, h7,h3. So you mite end up having to buy new bulbs+projectors.

you cant use the 9006 bulbs in projectors your best off buying a complete setup from VXCL or ebay.

The best projector setup is the:

Bi-Xenon setup from an OEM Audi/BMW/Benz...the one I had came from a BMW 7-series vehicle...and the output was amazing...

Make sure the parts are all high quality, like Hella and Phillips bulbs....get 4100k bulbs....they are the most stock looking and have the most output compared to the other kelvin rating bulbs

DanMan was on the right track but Me and VXCL both sell projectors and if you want the best set-up i would go with Bi-Xenon projectors either made from hella or phillips

you can get into a nice bi setup for about 350 now with bulbs ballasts and projectors

also with bulbs, do not get anything above 4300k anything above that is worthless and mike will tell you this as well

and yes they do have 1000000x more better than any hid, just picture this, hids in a regular haolgen housing takes the light and it reflects and scatters the light with the projector the light is more centered and more focus and if you have a fully in cased projector setup like mine you will get more light output and more light visable

but then again i have h1 but that was a entry level projector and i was experimenting b4 i started to spend lots of money

right now im working on a fully custom dual projector setup

Yeah, the hid projectors are the best with great output and not blind others.

I've only been sayin nothing beats a true xenon projector setup for almost 2 yrs now!

bi-xenons are not very friendly when it comes to installation because of their size, but they are awesome. if you want a more purple audi look get osram bulbs, if you want a more bmw look get philips bulbs. use 4100k like everyone else. sell your kit for $150 and call it a loss. i got a set of lexus oem ballasts and a set of matched osram bulbs (both came from same car, and same use) you can have for $215 shipped.

same ballast as this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2471320231

i have no projectors at this time though

Thanks baka_t

That was my setup before the black housings...I like how VXCL mounted it in the back with using the rubber thing....all I did was seal it and use duct tape lol...figured no one would look behind there

Nope those projectors are crap. Can't beat OEM projectors. I had a friend with one of those sets off ebay on his accord, and the light output sucks. Your h.i.d's in the stock reflectors are prolly 10x better.
