I'm guessing the car hasn't been dragged yet since it isn't tuned.

I'm looking forward to seeing the results of both =)

The supercharged H22 swap is bitchin'. I'd love to just put a roots blower on my stock F22.

Those are canards. It's more of a time attack thing. They work, but are normally used for fine tuning the aero of a car since they usually create a lot of drag at high speeds.

as fot fitment, i'm pretty sure he had to make a slight adjustment to the firewall to get it to fit. funny thing is that besides the slight firewall issue, it looks like it fits better than the skunk2 IM and doesn't hit the brake booster at all.

Yea I woke up today thinking about the fact that I think he has the Type S H22 which puts out 220hp to the crank stock, am I correct? And I know I undercalcualted yesterday, but that's because I was drunk and didn't want to do the math.

Also, at 223whp, I'd need to know at what compression, because once lowered, you'll lose hp. I believe if I'm not mistaken, every 1 CR equates to about 3% gain in hp. So lets say if he lowered it 1 CR, the 223whp becomes 216.3 whp. Let's say about 60whp with the s/c, so around 276whp definitely I think, plus tuning.......shizzle, you're right. Comes out to about 290whp. I guess to make a more educated guess, knowing what psi he's going to be running will help.

Man screw doing all this math in my head, just post up a dyno! Again mad props and a badass looking sleeper.

Btw, with those kind of numbers, and your weight, you're easily looking at a 12 sec car with the right conditions at the track. Talk about sleeper!

considering your chassis and motors are different to the cl's, i dont see how this is relevant. if it came with one out of the factory, i would assume it serves some purpose. or maybe they engineered the car without the need of one like you guys have said.

id like to know the real answer? if hes risking anything with none on there.

u gotta keep in mind noone knows what a CL is usually, and those who do think its a 150 hp single cam powered heavy coupe that happens to look like a tuner car in his case, not an h22 powered supercharged beast. I think it qualifies as a sleeper.

let's take an h23 4th gen for example.
look at this way. a stock prelude will outhandle a stock 2.x CL any day. curb weight is very similar, dimensions are similar, engine power is pretty close. Preludes don't come with stock strut braces, CLs do. but they handle worse. proving my point that the stock brace on the CL is useless. Sway bars help much more.

exactly. last I checked, they looked pretty beefy. but room to upgrade for sure though.

As far as the sways debate I can vouch for them making a difference.

My car handles way different (better) than it did stock I did get quite a bit upgraded though stiffer springs, stiffer dapening, F/R sways, and a strut bar :/

Looks like the red top of the 98-02 prelude sh i believe. Or did you just paint it? Looks good if painted. If so what did you use.

Its a stock H22. Euro-R would have diff intake manifold. Fuel rail setup would be different also.

1st of all he had the the skunk2 IM before the supercharger so u couldn't possibly tell from that or the fuel rail setup cuz its aftermarket. 2nd, most of the motor has been upgraded anyway so either way its no stock h22 bro lol. either way i'm waiting for the dyno on tuesday, cuz #'s don't lie.

my motor is not stock it's fully built from top to bottom. there is no way a stock h22 with bolt ons and a tune can put out 220whp & 180trq

when i just had bolt on and a tune i was only putting out 187whp & 154trq

Nice... I would like to know how much custom work you needed to do to get that thing to fit. How much did the SC cost ya if you don't mind?

Again... stop jumping the damn gun and pay attention to what's written...
He has a bone stock H22 not a H22 euro-r. Diff setup. From that point he has gone and extentivly built it. Understood so chill out Chris. I have seen Shawns car way before you came in the picture. I know what he had... just relax

are you honestly arguing the fact that his block came out of a prelude and not an accord? either way, he shared his numbers, mentioned it was built top to bottom and it's now blown. who cares what the stamp on it is. It's more than we know about your motor, except that your head is worth 5k.
